Stanley Solutions, an engineering organization founded by Joe Stanley in 2019. We focus on identifying the ways that we can solve the problems in our community and making the lives for those around us more meaningful whenever possible.
Areas of Focus
Much like our values, we focus on education, vision, and sustainability are all regions where we engage. Finding new ways to use the technology already available to us is very important to us. Using aging computers to provoide value in today’s modern world, finding ways to reuse aging and dying technology, and finding new ways to recycle the comodities that affect all of us.
Technology
There are countless new and interesting ways that we can integrate new technology into our daily lives, and it is our goal to facilitate this integration. Tech can often bring great value and reduce daily frustration in many ways, and it is our belief that these solutions should focus on supporting those individuals and groups for which they were built. Tying into our community focus, we wish to solve those challenges that plague our community, and bring resolution to the key areas that are most impactful on those around us.
Agriculture
Farmers and producers are often overwhelmed with daily operations, and day-to-day tasks. If they do have time to develop new ideas and see them all the way to completion, they may not have the time to market and share their ideas, bringing them to others. We aim to provide resources in this space.
Our goals are to provide agricultural providers with new and inovative ways to increas yeild, decrease cost, and improve their own quality of life, wherever possible.
Our Founder
Joe Stanley is an Electrical Engineer, graduated from the University of Idaho, and engaged in finding new ways to utilize resources in the world. Joe is excited about working to encourage research in agriculture, driving excellence in youth education, and bringing excitement to everything we can.
Joe completed his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2018, and received his Masters in Engineering, Electrical Engineering in 2019.
Joe is actively engaged as a 4-H volunteer project leader in the F.M.B.E. (Freeze, Mountain Home, Burden, Elmore) club in Potlatch, Idaho. Joe has been supporting teen programs, and actively developing 4-H web applications to support teen events with youth, for youth. For mor information about those projects you may visit the Stanley Solutions GitLab service.
Joe engages routinely with the University of Idaho, College of Engineering to support Engineering Capstone Projects for engineering seniors to gain real-world, hands-on experience managing an engineering project from initial concept to production prototype. These projects have included wildfire detection systems, biomass reduction and reutilization systems, as well as supporting projects focused on electrical engineering education.
